Privacy Policy

This page is a product draft aligned with Commitments and Google Play Data safety. Have it legally reviewed before relying on it in production.
Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how Dragneel Technologies (“we”, “us”) handles information in Commitments, our Android and Linux/desktop apps, and related sync services.
Contact for privacy and account deletion requests: contact@dragneeltechnologies.com.
What we collect
- Account: email, password (handled by Neon Auth), and user ID.
- Not collected: name (unless we add it later), profile photos, location, contacts, or photos from your device.
- User content: idea titles and commitments (day, priority, done). Synced to the cloud when you are signed in.
- Devices: device id, name, platform, and last seen — used for sync seat limits.
- Purchases: subscription / entitlement status and a Google Play purchase token for verification. We do not receive your full card numbers; Google Play collects payment details.
- Local-only: Commitments stores data in offline SQLite on your device. The app works without an account. A cloud copy exists only after you sign up and sync.
Why we collect it
- App functionality: login, sync across devices, and device caps (2 free / 5 paid).
- Security / fraud: verify Play purchases, enforce device limits, and revoke devices.
We do not use this data for advertising, analytics products, or selling personal data.
Where data goes / who processes it
- Neon — authentication and database hosting.
- Google Play — billing and subscriptions on Android.
- AWS — API (Lambda / API Gateway) that syncs data and verifies entitlements.
- Razorpay — may process desktop payments if and when that billing path ships.
We do not sell personal data to advertisers. We do not use ad SDKs, third-party analytics vendors, social login providers, or trackers in Commitments.
How long we keep it
- Account and sync data are kept while the account exists.
- Soft-deleted sync rows may remain until purged; we do not always hard-delete immediately.
- After an account deletion request, we aim to delete cloud account data within 30 days.
Account & data deletion
To request deletion of your Commitments account and cloud data, use our Delete Account page or email contact@dragneeltechnologies.com.
In v1 we do not offer partial deletion of cloud data without closing the account.
Children's privacy
Commitments is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use HTTPS, authentication tokens, and access controls limited to providing the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot promise absolute security.
Your rights / contact
Depending on where you live (including India and other regions we serve), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us at contact@dragneeltechnologies.com or use the Delete Account page.
Offline-first & subscriptions
- Local data stays on your device; sync is optional with an account.
- The same account on Linux and Android shares synced data.
- Android subscriptions are managed via Google Play (cancel or request refunds through Play).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
